【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthesetofdefinitions,conventionsandactivitiesoftheCOSMICFunctionalSizeMeasurementMethod.Itisapplicabletosoftwarefromthefollowingfunctionaldomains:a)applicationsoftware;EXAMPLEBanking,insurance,accounting,personnel,purchasing,distributionormanufacturing.b)real-timesoftware;EXAMPLESoftwarefortelephoneexchangesandmessageswitching,softwareembeddedindevicestocontrolmachinessuchasdomesticappliances,liftsandcarengines,forprocesscontrolandautomaticdataacquisition,andwithintheoperatingsystemofcomputers.c)hybridsoftheabove.EXAMPLEReal-timereservationsystemsforairlinesorhotels.ThisInternationalStandardhasnotbeendesignedformeasuringthefunctionalsizeofapieceofsoftware,oritsparts,which?ischaracterizedbycomplexmathematicalalgorithmsorotherspecializedandcomplexrules,suchascanbefoundinexpertsystems,simulationsoftware,self-learningsoftwareandweatherforecastingsystems,or?processescontinuousvariablessuchasaudiosoundsorvideoimages,suchascanbefoundincomputergamesoftware,musicalinstrumentsandthelike.
